March to Commemorate 21st Anniversary of "June 4"

On 30 May 2010, the Alliance in Support of Patriotic Movements in China organised another annual march from Victoria Park to Central Government Offices to commemorate June 4 student democratic movement in Beijing 1989. The marchers braved the rain to call on China to vindicate the June 4 democratic movement and to free Liu Xiaobo and other prisoners of conscience. Despite his late-stage cancer, Mr Szeto Wah, the chairman of the Alliance, led the marchers in chanting slogans of democracy at the beginning of the march. The participants in the march included visitors from the mainland and Taiwan. Many were young people and those from the post-80s generation and some whole families...

I witnessed the march from the beginning to end and captured quite many images with my simple camera as a historical record of another pro-democracy march in the SAR of Hong Kong on Chinese soil...
